Understanding Who Owns Content Created by AI


Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, like the chatbot ChatGPT, can create content that's very similar to what a person would write. This raises questions about who owns that content. In this article, we look at copyright laws in the UK and how they apply to content created by AI.

But who owns the final product is not clear. OpenAI’s terms of use give users all rights to the output. Still, users have to make sure they're not breaking any laws when they use the content.
